Spinach Tahini Smoothie

This is my favourite smoothie. I love it before or after a workout, sometimes I will add a tablespoon of hemp seeds if I am having it after a rigorous workout. This simple smoothie has fueled many long bike rides!! Give it a try.
1/2 cup apple juice or water
(I prefer water, but juice may be best for those new to green smoothies)
1/2 cup washed spinach
1/2 to 1 celery stalk
1 tbsp tahini (or replace with sunflower seed butter or almond butter)
Optional: Add more greens (I do!)
Optional: add 1 tbsp hemp seeds
Optional: add 1 tbsp goji berries
Optional: add 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
